Noah (Jonah Hill) is a college student who has been suspended and now lives with his mom.

After having a heated argument with his mother, he’s lured into taking a babysitting job caring for the kids of Mrs. Pedulla: the stern and studious Slater (Max Records), no-nonsense wild child Blithe (Landry Bender) and Mafia-esque exchange student Rodrigo (Kevin Hernandez).

Soon Noah is invited to a party to have sex with his girlfriend (Ari Graynor) and he soon becomes entangled with two psychopathic drug dealers and a wild chase through Manhattan.

Movie2k Movies – The Sitter Production Notes

Jonah Hill has wanted to be a writer since he was young, dreaming of someday joining the writing teams of The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live and The Larry Sanders Show.

At one point, Hill was writing a screenplay with close friend and I Heart Huckabees co-star Jason Schwartzman. At another, he was writing Pure Imagination, a comedy for Sony about a man who develops an imaginary friend after a traumatic experience. Filming was expected to begin in 2008, but it has been in development since then.

Hill co-created, co-writes, executive produces and lends his voice to the new Fox animated comedy Allen Gregory, which will air in between The Simpsons and Family Guyon Sunday nights.

Hill directed his first music video for singer Sara Bareilles’s “Gonna Get Over You”.
