Movie2k Movies – Margin Call Our Thoughts

At first glance, I immediately wrote Margin Call off as a ‘Wall Street’ wanna be. After watching the trailer I am convinced this movie is something much more than just a ‘wanna be’.

First off it has a stellar cast of some very seasoned, well known faces. With the likes of Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Stanley Tucci and Paul Bettany, just to name a few, only a piss poor script and direction could derail a cast of this caliber.

The topic is one that is sure to grab most peoples attention with so many Americans still reeling from the economic downfall of the late 2000’s. I expect to see this movie raise some eye brows as the film promises to reveal the ugly, greedy, self serving face of the corporate board room where, all to often, decisions that affect so many of us are made.

Margin Call is definitely going on my ‘movies to see’ list. I am a huge fan of most the principal actors it features and I am a sucker of ‘true to life’ films.
